Band Cleaning - enables a wide range of coated products to be handled (Optional)
Variable Drive Speed - controls the product residence time accurately. Band speeds from 1.5 to 4.5 metres /min
Hygienic Design - achieved through ample access doors for cleaning and maintenance together with stainless steel contact parts
Efficient Design - has been achieved by the re-use of air. Lower air velocities can be used to minimize product damage
Variety of Belt Types - means a greater range of product shapes and sizes can be handled whilst allowing maximum airflow
External Infeed Section - helps to remove fines before product enters the dryer
Construction - typically manufactured in painted mild steel with stainless steel contact parts, a totally stainless steel option is available. Insulation is 50mm thick rockwool
Product Tumbling Action - as product transfers from a one conveyor to the next, assists even drying.

The Single Conveyor Dryer offered by SAKAV today is the result of this production experience. Whether it is a two-foot wide unit drying an expensive pharmaceutical product or a 12-foot wide machine producing at the rate of 40,000 kilograms per shift, the components such as fans, heating systems, conveyors, chain, panels and other equipment are carefully selected to meet specific production requirements.

The decision to use alternating air circulation, product cooling, feeding systems etc. is based on product, process and SAKAV experience. The use of multizone temperature is unique to conveyor dryers and provides maximum efficiency at each point of the heating / drying process.

Modern dryer design plus factory modular pre-assembly provides an additional value customer who uses a SAKAV Conveyor Dryer.

Many products previously difficult to dry using normal drying techniques may now be effectively dried on the SAKAV Multistage Single Conveyor oven. Essentially a single machine incorporating separate drying conveyors and temperature controlled zones for varying loading, drying times, temperatures, and humidities. It has many advantages such as

  1. Minimizes sticking to conveyor by transferring product from one conveyor to another at the ideal point in the drying cycle.
  2. Ensure product turnover for more uniform drying.
  3. Multi-zone temperature control for best temperature profile.
  4. Multiple air reversals for maximum uniformity in final dried product
